Rules and Guidelines:
These basic rules apply to every part of the board unless stated otherwise!
Important Information:
ANY USER WITH A FAKE, OR WHAT APPEARS TO BE FAKE EMAIL ADDRESS, WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT DELETED, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. THAT EMAIL ACCOUNT, AND THE IP (INTERNET PROTOCOL) ADDRESS LISTED WILL BE LISTED AS TO NEVER ALLOW TO REGISTER. WE HATE SPAM, WE HATE SPAMMERS, AND ANYONE THAT APPEARS TO BE A SPAMMER WILL BE DELETED AND BLOCKED. WE ARE TIRED OF DELETEING ACCOUNTS DAY AFTER DAY FROM SPAMMERS. WE HAVE TAKEN A NO TOLERANCE POLICY AGAINST SPAMMERS. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.
INTERNATIONAL USERS PLEASE READ BELOW! IMPORTANT INFORMATION PERTAINS TO YOU!
1. Please be aware that violations against any of these rules will be prosecuted by the Administrators and Global Moderators.

2. A warning system is in place and depending on the severity of your actions moderators can freely warn you and punish you for breaking the rules.

3. Paintball Splat Attack (PSA) reserves the right to modify these rules without notice and ban users without them reaching certain warning limit. PSA also reserves the right to remove any post regarding specific material and sites.

4. Please search the board before making a new thread. There's a strong chance your question has already been asked and answered.

5. Important: In order to resolve any conflicts involving crew members (that includes Mods, Global Mods, Admins etc), we encourage everyone to report the abusive use of moderating privileges or similar problems directly to medic or oldguy . When doing so, please provide all information needed to take care of the case; if you feel that a particular person is not the right contact for your complaint, please get directly in touch with any Admin of your choice instead. Under no circumstances start threads asking why other threads were moderated. Forum moderation is not up for public debate, such threads will be deleted and the thread starter and / or participants will be warned or banned..

6. No illegal actives, including but not limited to, terrorist acts, posting of illegal items, drugs, etc. Your IP Address can be logged and will be given to local authorities and be forwarded to the FBI.

7. Staff:
We ask that you as a member / visitor, treat our staff with the utmost respect at all times. If you have any problems with either an administrator or moderator, please report it to the main admin, medic or oldguy. All reports are taken seriously, and filing a false complaint will result in account suspension for the amount of time deemed necessary by the active director.

8: No flaming
No Members or Crew Members are allowed to engage in public personal attacks of any kind, on any other Members or Crew Members. Such attacks are defined as personal, racial, sexual orientation, ethnic, sexual, or gender based insults, slurs or derisive comments. Criticize ideas, not people!

9: No trolling
Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to get people riled up. Substance is the key to not being labeled a troll! If you post comments that start a fight in the forum, please consider yourself banned. This is not the image of paintball we want everyone to see.

10: Post in the right forums
If your topic is about something that we have a forum for, post it there.
10.1: Don't post something off-topic just because you think you'll get "better responses" in a particular forum.
10.2: If the forum you are looking for is not listed, please contact someone on the Admin staff, and we may consider starting a forum for that topic.

11: Respect the privacy of others
Do not post your's or other's phone numbers, pictures, any type of screen names and Instant Message conversations without their permission, such actions will result in severe punishment by the individual that can be out of our hands, and we may take actions ourselves including but not limited to, account suspension, deletion of account, and your IP address being blocked.
11.1 If you are caught logging into another members account then you can consider yourself banned. We will not put up with it, Staff - you will face strict consequences if this occurs so please don’t do it. The only time this rule doesnt apply is when providing account tech support to assist a user with getting online in the forum.

12: No spamming
Any kind of advertising about other websites or message board is not allowed. If you wish to advertise any other site, the only tolerated place for doing so is your signature, which you can edit within your profile.
12.1: Any flooding with useless content is strongly forbidden.
12.2: No links that require/contain affiliates, or associate IDs, to services, products or giveaways.
12.3: Only exception to the no advertising rule. If you find a new paintball product, a possible road trip place, or a paintball team i.e. a new marker, or new paintball field, and think everyone should check it out, please post the link only once. Repeat posts will result in it being deleted, and you warned and / or banned.
12.4: INTERNATIONAL USERS: While we weclome international users, please be advised that you MUST provide proof that you are an actual user and not a spammer. Due to recent spikes in spammers joining our board, the management has now made it a requirement that all international users must prove they are a real user.
12.5: INTERNATIONAL USERS: USERS FROM ANY COUNTRY LISTED BY THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AS AN "UNFRIENDLY NATION" OR A NATION THAT SPONSORS TERRORISM, WILL HAVE THEIR ACCOUNTS DELETED WITHOUT WARNING, AND WITHOUT CAUSE. THIS ISSUE IS NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION!! THIS LIST INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES:
- IRAQ
- IRAN
- NORTH KOREA
- SUDAN
- CUBA
- SYRIA
- AFGHANISTAN
- SAUDI ARABIA

13: No obscene, pornographic or adult material
No hardcore XXX and gross pictures are allowed in any forums.
13.1: Nude beautiful babes are not allowed. This is for protection of our children and our bosses so please respect this rule.
13.2: Sites which require a form of voting for them aren't allowed either. (First vote, then access)
13.3: ANY PORNOGRAPHIC MATERIALS POSTED ON THIS FORUM, WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING BANNED, AND YOUR IP ADDRESS BEING REPORTED. THIS RULE APPLIES TO EVERYONE. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
13.4: If you think something might be offensive, please send it to an Admin and let them decide.

14: No Warez
Don't post or link warez, serial numbers, keygens or any kind of crack or hack in the forum. This will result in you being banned. These are illegal, and also violate rule 6.

15: Signatures and Avatars
Please ensure that your signature or avatar conforms to the site rules:
Max of 5000 characters.
If your signature contains text over this limit, they may be removed without warning. If an email is sent to you regarding this matter, simply change or resize your signature so that they are within the rules, to avoid further action being taken. Please note that PSA is also a 56K friendly site, so please respect our dialup members. Not everyone can get broadband!
15.1: ANY signature (text, animated image, flash, etc) may not contain sounds, music, or sound effects without Administrator Permission. If the signature is updated to contain these after administration approval, the signature must re-obtain permission.

16: Multiple Accounts
If any member is found with more than 1 account on the board and actively uses it to spam or deceive staff or board members, both accounts and IP's will be banned from PSA.

17: Items For Sale
Under no circumstances shall any user list any paintball related equipment for sale in the forums, unless prior arrangements have been made with Bill at Paintball Splat Attack.
17.1: Violation of this rule, may result in your post being deleted, or your account suspended for 3 days. Repeat offences may result in your account being terminated.
17.2: If you have an item for sale, please contact Bill. It will then be placed on the main website, www.pbsplatattack.com .
17.3: Only exception is for those users who have purchased a subscription to the forum. You will have access to a special forum for Buy, Sell, and Trade.

18: Misc.
Please refrain from using CAPITALIZATIONS in the topic title or when participating in threads because they will not attract attention and may result in your post being deleted.
18.1: Please use correct grammar. Members and staff can not help you if we do not know what you’re trying to say.
18.2: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PICTURES ON THIS FORUM: Off-site linking of pictures to this site is only acceptable under one circumstance. You must have authorization from the webmaster of the site you are pulling the picture from. We require a copy of this authorization to be kept on file here with the forum in order to protect our ISP and everyone involved with the board. Off-site linking of pictures to this forum without authorization is called bandwidth stealing, AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ON THESE FORUMS! It costs a decent amount of money to host a website, and stealing bandwidth costs everyone a lot of money. So please, don't do it, unless you have permission.
18.3: Chat Room: PSA offers to its members of the forum a chat room for everyone to come, chat, share ideas, meet new friends, etc. While we will do our best to keep it under control, at some times, distasteful topics, may be discussed in the room. If you do not wish to see this type of material, please log out of the room. While we do not control what people say, we will not tolerate any of the items listed above in the rules.
